Another weekend, another bike rally. This time it was the Wild Ride benefitting the Lance Armstrong Shaped Beam Surgery program at Richardson Regional Medical Center. This was the first really hot ride of the year with temps in the mid 90s (~35 Celsius). The ride was only a metric century (64 miles) rather than an imperial century, so it wasn’t too bad. Those extra 36 miles make a difference. The fun rides are the 100 mile ones in August when we hit triple digits.
