Thanks to Mark post preview is much spiffier. After you save a draft, you get a full preview of what it will actually look like on your site. Here’s a peek.

Awesome! The current preview function on WordPress leaves a bit to be desired particular with all the custom div tags I have on my site.
Spiffy! 😀
Very nice! Is this available as a plugin?
1.6 looks sexier every day.
That is pretty cool. I think Lorelle was hinting at something like this a little while ago…
That is awesome. That’s a feature I’ve wanted for a while. 😀
Fantastic. Thanks Mark!
I like this feature too.
Yes, It’s spiffy!
Excellent!
Wow ..!! Looks coool .. 🙂
Looks great, WordPress.com uses it now too 🙂
Great preview 🙂
Looking forward to see more changes 😀
Looks great. Tried it out on my sandbox blog and it’s very cool indeed. Mark++ 🙂
Very cool, thanks a lot 🙂
Excellent!
Now, if we could get our inline styles back in post content, wordpress.com users would really be dancing and rioting with joy in the streets. 😉
What would be really cool is if you could find a way to make it a live preview without the need to save a draft in order to see it.
Very cool regardless, though. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to edit posts after the fact because of spelling mistakes, mislinks and forgetting to close a tag.
That is so cool…
yeah… is it available as a plugin for WP?
I’m confused.
good things come to those who wait 🙂
This is built into WP 1.6. There might be some plugins that add this for 1.5.x, I’m not sure.
If you have a wp.com site, this is already live.
Yargh, live preview would be awesome, still looks fine and dandy as is. 🙂 No more keeping another tab open and swapping between for me. 😀
ryan, can we get this showing the blog on publish as an option?
ta.
Didn’t Matt one say:
cant wait for plugins
Freakin awesome. can’t wait to use this.
This is great news! Now I’m all hyped up for 1.6! 🙂
Very preety !
1.6 is looking great. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. Does anyone really follow the “Still do not use” warnings? 😉
Well, frames and iframes are tools. They get a bad rap, like tables, because they are frequently misused. I can’t, however, think of a better way to get this functionality. What people wanted was a view of their post exactly as it would appear on the blog. The iframe gives us that window.
As for live preview… the problem is that we would have to save the post as a draft before we could update the iframe, which might be undesirable. Also, you can’t exactly be typing and looking at a live preview at the same time… it’s rather a back-and-forth process (which is why I created the edit/preview links for jumping between).
My thoughts on the feature are here.
Very cool, thanks a lot. That is awesome. That’s a feature I’ve wanted for a while
