Finally got enough pennies together to get a Vitamix. I got a factory reconditioned one straight from Vitamix.

Good things are inside, good things.

Look at that engine.

The cookbook is pretty nice.

And a little welcome pamphlet that includes a warranty certificate.

Let’s clean this thing. Add a couple drops of soap and some water.

Set it to high and flip it on. Damn those blades go fast.

Let’s inaugurate this thing with a blended salad.

Some rough chopping and then load the blender with the more liquidy bits closest to the blade.

Flip it on and wait a few seconds.

So fast, a tear of joy might have slid down my cheek.

To your health. Cheers!
I dream that someday someone will just give me a vitamix :’)
A few seconds!? That’s… unpossible. I need video proof.
Is it possible to keep a bit of a diary on this thing (every couple months or so) I am very interested in making my own easy, healthy and fast “shakes”. I have been looking online for juicers, mixers, … and the reviews are either super great on one side and then really bad on the bottom side (no matter how expensive these things get, some will break easily). That said, enjoy your vitamix and seriously, your website makes me really hungry and I’m not really a vegetarian or vegan or … And of course also a thanks for what you bring to the wordpress community 😉 muchas gracias!
Yeah the Vitamix is an awesome machine. I love that it blends leafy greens so well that you won’t even know they are in your smoothie. I know they are expensive, but it’s totally worth saving up for in my opinion.
I actually wrote a review of the Vitamix myself for another blog. If anyone is interested in reading, you can check it out here: http://www.charlottesvineyard.com/vitamix-5200-review/
Awesome site by the way!
